(Insert sad face here)

I had hoped this post would be filled with photos of our fun-filled weekend with Lara and Mike, who were in from D.C. We were supposed to sip margaritas, grill out, catch up. Instead we were sipping ginger ale, eating saltines and fretting over our little one, who was hit with the stomach flu on Saturday. At brunch that morning, Harry appeared to be trying out for The Exorcist. A 12-week-old with the stomach flu is a sad and scary sight (at least for the first-time freaked-out parents). The fun was only enhanced when Rob and I were hit with it as well. Unfortunately, the only photo I have to share from this weekend is this sad one, of sick little Harry holding onto his giraffe :(

Stop.....Really....You do go on.....

Harry is three months old today!

Happy Birthday Dad

At first, Harry wasn't sure how he felt about birthdays...

But then Dad convinced him birthdays were OK after all...

Aunt Sue Graduates

We here at Hello Harry were very proud this weekend of Aunt Sue, who graduated with high honors and a degree in nursing.

Sue and Maggie

The graduate and siblings...

During the weekend we also had a chance to take in Cameron's soccer game. Cam and the other 5-year-olds played quite an exciting game -- they scored goals and everything! Harry watched from the sidelines. His stroller was only hit by an errant soccer ball once.

Watch out....Here comes Cameron....

Harry also used the weekend trip to catch up on some thumb-sucking....

Where's Chloe?

Can you spot the thing that doesn't belong in the nursery?

Aunt Steph's Baby Parade

Most days of the week, we meet Aunt Steph out for a stroll in the neighborhood. She carries one baby in the stroller and one in the Baby Bjorn...Sometimes, for fun, we strap Harry to her back just to truly challenge her nannying skills.

Harry is gleeful to be outside.

Hmmm.....This "Aunt Steph" looks like mom....and sounds like mom....and sings me the same silly songs as mom....Alright, I'll give her a smile....

What Harry has been up to...

Discovering the mobile in his crib....

Mastering how to get his thumb in his mouth. Since Friday, it appears to be all he can think about. But his hard work appears to be paying off. By my count, he did it 8 times all by himself in one day. I was very proud when two other moms came up to us in the grocery store and exclaimed at how great it was that he was so little and able to get his thumb in my mouth. (HE'S OBVIOUSLY A GENIUS!)

Smiles...

Laughs....You should see Rob or I do a raspberry. We're pretty hilarious -- at least 10-week-olds think so.

And because I have dedicated my career to truth and accuracy, I feel compelled to include this image. This boy does smile, but oh man, does this boy cry too. This is what we call the "5 o'clock Grizzlies." (Apparently an Australian term that means the baby is seriously freaking out. Lach, did we translate it correctly?)
